IMZ is very pleased to invite you to participate in dance screen The Hague 2007, our 11th international festival and competition for dance films and videos. In the Holland Dance Festival, Filmhuis Den Haag and NPS, we have found synergetic partners to co-organise this event and in the City of The Hague, a very supportive funder for this very specific art form.

dance screen will be held from 15 – 18 November, featuring an extensive programme for all lovers of dance and dance film/video, which brings together the newest dance films and videos, lively and productive discussions on the state of the arts, inspiring lectures and presentations as well as reunions with like-minded friends from all over the world. The festival will culminate in the dance screen Award Gala on Saturday, 17 November, presenting the EUR 15,000 dance screen Award.

Besides numerous screenings we will look into a variety of areas ranging from TV to art environments to self-broadcasting, interactive platforms; geographically, we will travel from the Netherlands to the Balkans, the Middle East and to Brazil with occasional stops in-between.
